REASONS AND PURPOSE
One thing I learned while living in the US is that if something doesn't exist and you really want it, then you should go ahead and create it yourself. The other thing, though, which I learned right after, was that if something does not clearly fit within a well known, precisely defined category, then it is like non-existent. Does it sound like one cancels the other? Well, it does. And this is the main purpose of this website: to describe, from a perspective which is at the same time academic and intuitive, systemic and interdisciplinary, issues that are avoided, ignored or unnoticeable because they do not easily fit in preexisting categories. You will find here research, essays and fiction, which are rooted in politics, economics, psychology, sociology, anthropology, philosophy and the arts.
I firmly believe in the absolute necessity of giving proper credit to those who have original ideas and approaches, regardless if they are famous professors/researchers/professionals, or obscure, "nameless" individuals. I firmly condemn any use of someone's ideas without asking for permission and/or crediting their source. Whether you are part of a non-profit, corporation or academic institution, if you are inspired by the ideas presented on this website, please don't be shy to mention your source of inspiration. In order for creativity and true human connection to thrive, it is very important to respect and recognize each other beyond our scientific titles and professional achievements. You are welcome to use any of the material and ideas on this website, providing that you will ask for permission and properly credit it.
